The Scout Sniper operates similarly to his medium range counterpart, but these eagle-eyed sharpshooters choose to attack from a long distance rather than sneaking through enemy lines.
They have almost no effect against Vehicles and have a lower damage output overall compared to Tactical Marines, however they can still be fairly effective at whittling down enemy infantry squads from long range (usually with sighting help from a Scout Squad).
