The Scout Squad is a Space Marine light infantry unit in Dawn of War II multiplayer. Scouts are Space Marines in training, their physical transformation as well as their skills still a work in process. They are equipped with bolters (slightly weaker than Tactical Marine bolters) and work as a reconnaissance/support unit.

• Fast and fragile, shotguns and moving speed provide anti-melee
• Grenades and the sniper rifle provide anti-garrison
• High melee skill protects from melee special attacks and Melee Resistance Aura from melee damage in general
